Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee’s plea seeking protection in multiple FIRs, deferring it to Aug 11. There are 16 FIRs pending against Banerjee, the state submitted.
Interim protection granted to Banerjee in three FIRs ends on Aug 17. His counsel sought protection till the petitions are disposed of.
