Kolkata: Bengal govt will hold a special felicitation ceremony to honour the state’s top 100 NEET rank-holders on Tuesday. The event is scheduled to begin at 5 pm at Nabanna Sabhaghar. CM Suvendu Adhikari will personally felicitate the students, recognising their outstanding academic performance.
As part of the govt initiative to support their future academic pursuits, each of the top 100 qualifiers will be presented with a laptop.
Organised jointly by the department of health and family welfare and the higher education department, the event will host around 400 guests. Invitees include the parents of the students, senior officials from the health administration, and principals of various govt and private medical colleges across the state.
