Kolkata: Entally police has registered a case after a complaint that a 15-year-old girl from Falta was abducted, trafficked, and sexually assaulted in Kolkata.
According to the complaint by her father, the girl was first lured out on May 24. She returned home that time. On Saturday, she was again allegedly taken to the city by the same group. The father alleged that the accused sold her for sexual exploitation. He also alleged that she was sexually assaulted in the Entally area.
The case was first reported at Falta PS. It was later transferred to Entally PS, where cops registered the FIR. Seven people have been named in the complaint. Police said the girl has been rescued.
