On the occasion of National Sports Day, Coal India Limited paid a heartfelt tribute to legendary hockey icon Major Dhyan Chand at its corporate headquarters in Kolkata. The tribute was led by Director (HR) Dr Vinay Ranjan, director (finance) Mukesh Agrawal, director (technical) Achyut Ghatak, director (business development) Asheesh Kumar, and chief vigilance officer Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, along with other senior executives.
To mark the day, Dr Vinay Ranjan administered the Fit India pledge to employees, reinforcing Coal India’s ongoing commitment to promoting health, wellness, and an active lifestyle among its workforce.
A health talk was organised under the Fit India Programme. Dr Gaurav Gupta, consultant orthopedic from Fortis, conducted a session on fitness.
