Baguiati Puja showcases Ganesha’s protective side through Op Sindoor theme

The Executive Palace Apartment Owners’ Association on VIP Road, Baguiati, mixed devotion with patriotism as its Ganesh Chaturthi theme – ‘Veer Ganesha – Raksha ke Devta’.
Celebrating its fifth year of festivities, the complex paid tribute to the bravehearts of the Pahalgam terror attack. The pandal portrayed deeply moving scenes, including a woman’s desperate plea to save her husband from a terrorist, and civilians fleeing for their lives – capturing the raw human emotions of that fateful day.
Building up the atmosphere were two life-size installations of fighter aircrafts, symbolising Operation Sindoor.
The idol shows goddess Parvati embracing Bal Ganesha. Ankit Agarwal, Secretary of Executive Palace Apartment Owners’ Association, said, “This year’s theme is our humble salute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation. We wished to instil pride, courage, and a sense of responsibility towards our country in every visitor. Ganeshji, as the protector, reminded us that strength must always walk hand in hand with compassion.”
