In the DNA test conducted at Rampurhat Government Medical College Hospital, the dead body has been identified as of class nine student of Papuri Village under Nanoor Police Station. On 19 July the class nine student went missing after she went for private tuition.
On 24 July a dead body was found beside a madrassah canal by Nanoor Police, but the condition of the dead body was so poor that she could not be identified. The mother of the victim had lodged a case at Nanoor Police Station and had alleged that her daughter has been murdered.
Police sent the samples for DNA tesing and it has matched with her mother. However, it is still not clear how the girl has died and whether she had suffered any physical torture. “ So far Nanoor Police Station has not shown any keenness to investigate the case and I suspect that the killers will ever be arrested.
Now when the dead body has been identified the police should properly probe my daughter’s murder case,”she has alleged. So far neither Birbhum SP Amandeep nor Nanoor Police Station has given any statements on this issue. Till the time of reporting nobody has been detained or arrested in this connection.
