Kolkata: A violent altercation over a parking dispute on Wednesday on CGR Road near Garden Reach, resulted in two people sustaining injuries. The incident, officially recorded as a FITR by the West Port Police, occurred around 3 pm. According to the complaint filed by Sailendra Ray (32), a resident of CGR Road, the altercation involved three other people, one of who also got injured during the incident. He alleged that the trio physically assaulted him using fists, blows, and an iron rod. The confrontation reportedly took place when the victim was trying to park his car.
"Ray sustained injuries to his forehead and other parts of his body. He was treated at SSKM Hospital anddischarged," said a senior Port Division official.
