Abhishek, Kakoli felicitated after getting new responsibilities

Abhishek Banerjee, national general secretary of the Trinamul Congress, who was recently entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Parliamentary Party in the Lok Sabha was felicitated at the TMC office inside the Parliament today.
With his, Barasat MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar was also felicitated for being chosen Chief Whip in place of Kalyan Bandopadhyay.
The TMC in its post on X handle wrote: “Shri @abhishekaitc has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading our Parliamentary Party in the Lok Sabha.
“Smt. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has been appointed as the Chief Whip, and Smt. Satabdi Roy as the Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha.
“Today, they were felicitated with saplings, a symbol of growth and renewal. Our MPs remain committed to fighting for the rights and dignity of the people in the Parliament.”
