Kolkata: Sundarbans Tiger Reserve will stay shut for tourism on Tuesdays instead of Fridays now. The order, which will come into effect from Sept 15, was issued on Thursday. On Dec 1, 2024, the no-tourist day was shifted to Friday from Tuesday. Stakeholders had questioned the move, saying that tourism in the Sundarbans relied predominantly on weekends. tnn
