Kolkata: The hour-long guided tour of Visva-Bharati's ashram complex commenced on Sunday with visitors being shown places of importance, like Upasana Griha (glass temple), Ghanta Ghar, Chhatimtala, Santiniketan Bari, Amra Kunja, places where open-air classes are held, and the old Patha Bhavana building within the heritage complex.
The walk will be held in five batches every Sunday with a maximum of 35 visitors. The timings will be at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm. Tickets have to be purchased from the Rabindra Bhavana ticket counter at 9 am on the day of the walk. There is no provision to book or purchase tickets online. Also, while mobile photography has been allowed, videography has been prohibited.
