Kolkata: A teenaged girl on Monday got her father arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting his stepdaughter over a year.Police said the accused, a resident of Jessore Road at Michaelnagar, had married a second time a few years ago, and since then, all of them—the accused, his two wives, his daughter from his first wife and the survivor, his second wife's 13-year-old daughter—had been living in the same house. His daughter told police that she recently came across him sexually assaulting her stepsister when her mother and stepmother were not at home. The survivor, too, confided in her, following which, the daughter lodged a complaint at the Airport Police Station. tnn
