Kolkata: Sonam Raghuvanshi, the 25-year-old from Indore accused of hiring contract killers to murder her newly-wed husband Raja during their honeymoon in Meghalaya 18 days ago, spent around four hours at Kolkata airport on Tuesday evening.A four-member police team escorted Sonam from UP's Ghazipur, where she was arrested on Monday, to Kolkata via Patna on Tuesday. After a four-hour layover in Kolkata, the team departed with Sonam for Guwahati on an IndiGo flight. She is expected to travel by car from Guwahati to Shillong on Wednesday."The high-profile accused was taken to the airport manager's room near the arrival gate after the IndiGo flight from Patna touched down at 4.49 pm. This was to ensure her segregation and security during the four-hour transit halt. The flight to Guwahati left at 9.30 pm," an official said at Kolkata airport.Sources said Sonam and the escorting officers — two female and two male — were the last to disembark from the Patna flight and also the last to board the Guwahati flight. Though she was not handcuffed and appeared tired, two female officers sat firmly on either side during the wait to ensure that she didn't give them the slip.
