Fire breaks out at medicine godown in West Bengal's Hooghly, no one injured

KOLKATA: A massive blaze engulfed a pharmaceutical warehouse located in Hooghly district of West Bengal on Wednesday morning, as reported by an official. Fortunately, no lives were lost due to the incident.
To combat the fire, which was initially noticed at approximately 5:2am, a minimum of ten fire engines were deployed to the scene.
"It took more than five hours to douse the fire.The cooling process is underway," said an official of the Fire and Emergency Services Department.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, he said.
